Ellis Timber

Ellis Timber is an FSC^® certified Sawmill. Homegrown logs from sustainable forests are processed through the sawmill and a wide range of finished fencing products are produced.

Over the years the business has expanded and the new sawmill, installed in 2005, is capable of producing over 1,000m3 of sawn timber a week. Large stocks are held on-site to meet customer demand, with deliveries arranged throughout Central and Southern England.

Ellis Timber first started in 1955 and with continued investment has made the Norwich site into one of the largest family-run softwood sawmills in the UK, with national deliveries of a wide range of ACQ treated fencing products.

A new sawmill, treatment tanks, and now three new kilns help with the continued growth of their new range of Redwood K/D posts treated to UC4. They also hold one of the largest stocks of both green and brown treated timber for immediate nationwide delivery in the UK.
