Appeal for Hit and Run Driver picture

Police have released are appealing for

Officers from Norfolk Police investigating a fail-to-stop collision in Costessey have released a photograph of the vehicle involved in a bid to trace the driver.

The incident happened on Saturday, January 8, at about 5.50pm on Norwich Road, close to the Cherry Tree pub, when a black Peugeot 206 left the road and collided with three pedestrians.

 

The Peugeot GTI was recovered a short while after the incident on Darrell Road in Larkman and has the registration X707HPP.

 

Road policing officers continue with their enquiries to trace the driver of the vehicle, which was not registered to an owner.

 

A 47-year-old man and a 12-year-old girl suffered slight injuries while a 14-year-old boy suffered serious head injuries. All were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.
