Arrest After Woman Stabbed To Death in Kings Lynn

A man has been arrested in connection with an incident which happened in King’s Lynn last night (Friday 21 September 2018).

A man has been arrested in connection with an incident which happened in King’s Lynn last night (Friday 21 September 2018).

Officers were called to an address in Fenland Road at 10.15pm following reports a woman had been stabbed.

She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment; however sadly died.

A man in his 20s has been subsequently arrested in connection with the incident and was taken to King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

Detective Inspector, Lewis Craske, said: "We are in the early stages of our investigation and working to establish the sequence of events which led to this woman's death.

"I would be very keen to hear from anyone who may have any further information that could assist with these enquiries, whether it concerns events leading up to it or the incident itself.”

A police cordon has been put in place at Fenland Road and Tennyson Avenue whilst further enquiries are carried out.
