Coltishall: Man Has Head Injuries After Trailer Crash

A man's in a critical condition with head injuries after a trailer came off the back of a car in Coltishall.

The man in his 60s was hit by the trailer after it came loose and mounted a curb on Wroxham Road yesterday afternoon.

He was flown to Addenbrookes by air ambulance.

Police are looking for witnesses and Norfolk Police told Heart: "At around 3.35pm on Tuesday 13 November 2012 a green Skoda Octavia was driving west towards the centre of the village on the B1354 Wroxham Road when a trailer it was towing became detached. The trailer mounted the foothpath and struck a male pedestrian in his 60s. He was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital by air ambulance with a head injury and remains in a critical condition."

"Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed this collision or anyone who may have seen the manner of driving of the Skoda prior to it."
