East: Tour of Britain Back!

The Tour of Britain cycle race is coming back to Norfolk and Suffolk again this September.
Its the third year in a row its come through our region.
It's a bit like our version of the Tour de France.
Its starting off at the Waterfront in Ipswich on 9th September - that's the stage called the Grand Depart.
Cyclists will travel through Suffolk first going through:
Ipswich (start)
Kesgrave
Woodbridge
Tunstall
Snape
Aldeburgh
Thorpeness
Leiston
Reydon
Wrentham
Kessingland
Lowestoft
Oulton
Blundeston
Lound
Portfolio Holder Cathy Gosling is from Suffolk County Council, she says it's great for the area...
They will then pass through Great Yarmouth,
The tour then goes through Norfolk calling at:
Filby
Potter Heigham
Hoveton
Coltishall
Reepham
Swanton Morley
Dereham
Mattishall
East Tuddenham
Colton
Easton
Finally ending with a finish event at the Norfolk Showground.
