Firefighters Protest in London

Hundreds of fire crews from Suffolk and Norfolk will be joining in what's being called the biggest protests for years today

There's going to be a huge protest in London by people who're angry about government cuts in local councils and government services. Unions reckon around a quarter of a million people could take to the streets.

Fire crews from Norfolk and Suffolk will be joining in to show their concerns about proposed redundancies and changes to the service.

Some of those changes could mean shutting down rural stations, however Suffolk and Norfolk County Councils haven't made any decisions yet.
