Two teenagers have been killed and another left in hospital after a road crash near Beccles.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the road crash last night (Tuesday 17 July 2012) on the A143 at Gillingham.

At approximately 6:30pm, a red Vauxhall Corsa and a black Mercedes were travelling in opposite directions west of the services roundabout when they were in collision with each other.

The occupants of the Mercedes, who are not local, were not seriously injured.

The road remained closed until midnight as investigations continued with diversions in place.
