Gt Yarmouth: Robbery At Pet Shop

The owner of a pet shop in Great Yarmouth has been threatened with a screwdriver during a robbery.

It happened at Yarmouth Pet Stores in Victoria Arcade at around 3.10pm, Wednesday 6 March 2013.

Two men went into the shop and demanded cash from the shop owner while threatening him with a screwdriver. They left with an undisclosed amount of cash heading into Victoria Arcade and in the direction of Regent Street.

The first man was described as white, 6ft tall of medium build and as wearing a black baseball cap with the letter M embroidered in the centre, he also wore a black scarf over his face and a light blue/grey bomber style jacket. He was believed to have been aged in his late 20s to early 30s.

The second man was also white, 5ft 10in tall of medium build with short cropped grey hair and a stubbly beard. He was believed to have been aged in his mid 30s to early 40s.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have spotted any suspicious activity in the area or who believes they may recognise the description of either male.
