Lowestoft: Crash Involving Police Car

A bungalow in Lowestoft has been damaged this morning, Friday 20th July 2012, following a road traffic collision involving a police vehicle.
The marked car was responding to an emergency incident when it collided with the property on Normanston Drive just before 5am. The female officer driving and only occupant was physically unhurt but was taken to the James Paget Hospital in shock. No other vehicles were involved.
The bungalow was empty and but the occupant is aware of the collision. A structural engineer will be sent to assess the damage.
