Lowestoft: Man Charged After Man's Death

A Lowestoft man's been charged with supplying Class B drugs after a man's death on St John's Road in Lowestoft.

A 32-year-old man has been charged with supplying a class B controlled drug following the death of a 34-year-old man in Lowestoft yesterday, Thursday 22 December.

The 32-year-old was arrested after police were called to an address in St Johns Road around 11.10am yesterday. Despite efforts by ambulance crews to revive him, the 34-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Thirty-two-year-old Glyn Jones, of St Johns Road, was interviewed by officers and has now been charged with supplying a quantity of Dihydrocodeine - a class B drug. He has been detained for court and is due to appear at Ipswich Magistrates Court tomorrow morning, Saturday 24 December.

A post mortem examination on the body of the 34-year-old man was carried out earlier today and further tests, including toxicology, will be required to determine cause of death.
