North Walsham: Man Charged After Serious Assault

A man's been charged after one man was seriously injured in North Walsham over the weekend.
Police have charged a man in connection with an incident in North Walsham in the early hours Saturday 22 September.
Officers were called to Vicarage Street shortly before 2am following reports of a disturbance in the road and that two men had been injured.
A 43-year-old man suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge for treatment where he remains in a serious condition. A 46 year old man has been bailed in relation to the incident
A 44-year-old man sustained an injury to his arm and was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. A 46-year-old man from North Walsham has been charged with ABH in relation to the injuries sustained by the 44 year old man and is appearing at Norwich Magistrates Court today.
