Norwich: Armed Robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses to an armed robbery which happened in Norwich this morning.

Officers were called to M&M's convenience store in Wingfield Road shortly before 10am following reports a man had entered the store with what is described as a handgun.

The robber demanded money before threatening the cashier and got away with a quantity of cash. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect, described as white and about 5ft 11, was wearing a black scarf covering his face, a brown hooded top with white cords around the collar and faded navy jeans. He fled the scene along Wingfield Road towards Alysham Road.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has information in relation to the suspect.
