Norwich: Bite Man Sentenced

A man who drew blood when he bit two security guards who tried to restrain him at a concert, has been sentenced.

Jason Goulding, 23, was at the Norfolk Spectacular event on 3 September 2011 when he became involved in an argument with security staff.

The court heard Goulding, of Sorrell House, Bowthorpe, Norwich, was drunk and bit two security guards on the forearm, drawing blood, as they tried to restrain him.

The incident was reported to police and Goudling was arrested at the scene.

Goulding appeared at Norwich Crown Court for sentencing on Thursday 19 January after pleading guilty to two counts of assault. He also admitted a charge of criminal damage after urinating in his cell while in custody at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre.

He was sentenced to eight months imprisonment suspended for 24 months and ordered to carry out unpaid work for 200 hours.
