Norwich: Cash Machine Raid

Police are investigating after someone tried to break into a bank to raid the cash machine in Norwich.

Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a Norwich bank in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday 21 August 2012. 

Officers were called to the Norwich and Peterborough on Plumstead Road at 12.15am, where offenders had attempted to break in to the building to raid the ATM machine. 

Enquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the incident. 

Detectives want to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed this burglary. A dark estate car was seen nearby and officers also want to hear from anyone with any information about this vehicle.
