Norwich: CCTV of Bank Robbery

Police investigating a robbery at a Norwich bank have released CCTV images.

Police are keen to speak to a man in connection with a robbery that took place in Norwich on Wednesday 8 February.

Officers were called at about 12.10pm after reports of a man going into the Co-Operative Bank on London Street  demanding cash from a member of staff over the counter. A quantity of cash was handed over and the offender fled the scene and is believed to have gone in the direction of Tombland.

Officers would like to speak to the man depicted in the CCTV stills in connection with the incident.

Detective Constable Jon Church from Bethel Street CID said: "Anyone who recognises the individual in the CCTV stills that capture him in the London Street area of the city is asked to get in touch with police. Our enquiries continue and we'd take this opportunity to re-appeal for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area prior to the incident and also immediately after the robbery to call us."
