Police are appealing for information in relation to an indecent assault in Norwich's Waterloo Park.

The incident happened between 2.30pm and 2.50pm on Tuesday 25 September 2012.

A young woman was walking through the central walkway in the park towards the main building. She was approached by an unknown male who spoke to her, touched her inappropriately and kissed her on the cheek.

This male is described as white, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall, of medium build with short, black scruffy hair, stubble and hairy hands. He had a tanned complexion and large discoloured wonky teeth, and spoke with an Italian accent. He was wearing a dirty green combat jacket and jeans. He was also carrying a carrier bag containing food. He left the area shortly afterwards and walked out of the main entrance onto Angel Road.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or saw the man in the area before or after the assault.
