Norwich: Murder Investigation Update

Norwich Magistrates Court have authorised a 36 hour extension of the custody time limit of a woman arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with a body found in Norwich.

A 30-year-old woman, detained in Cambridgeshire on Monday, remains in custody at Wymondham Police Investigation Centre with this current custody extension expiring at around 3am on Thursday 8th March.

Sixty-seven-year-old Barry Reeve was found dead at his property on Corton Road in Norwich on Sunday 26th February.

A second woman who has already been charged with murder in connection with the death appeared at Norwich Crown Court yesterday.

31-year-old Kelly Louise Barnes from Bixely Close in Norwich was remanded into custody to appear back in court in May. 

Police are continuing to appeal to anyone with information in relation to the incident. They should contact the Major Investigation Team on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
