A woman's been taken to hospital after being found in what police have called a 'distressed state' in Norwich.
Officers were called to the scene at around 11.15am after reports of a distressed female.
An elderly lady, was discovered by officers close to St Andrew’s Car Park and an ambulance called. She's been taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.
Police have told Heart "investigations are underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident"
But officers believe there were 'a number' of people in the area at the time and officers would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have seen an elderly female in the area at around 11am.
Witnesses are asked to contact Norfolk Constabulary on 101.
