Passengers Hurt in Coach Crash

It is thought five people are seriously injured after a coach overturned near to Norwich Airport.

The crash happened at 1600 afternoon near to the roundabout on the A140 at the turning to Horsford and Holt.

Witnesses are telling Heart it appears the coach left the road and rolled over and no other vehicles are involved.

Around 49 people were on board and all those on board have been released from the vehicle with the emergency services are treating casualties.

It is believed the majority of people on board are walking wounded, and there are believed to be around 15 people with minor injuries and around 5 people with serious injuries.

Any casualties are being taken to the Norfolk and Norwich hospital for treatment to their injuries and Horsham St Faith Social Club is being opened as a location to provide support to the non-injured passengers.

The road is now closed and diversions have been set up.
