Police investigating the suspicious death of a woman say there is no threat to the public as they think the offender and the victim knew each other.
Officers were called to an address on Copenhagen Way in Norwich yesterday afternoon when a woman's body was found.
A 21-year-old man who recently lived in the Norwich area was arrested on suspicion of murder in North Yorkshire today and is being brought to Norfolk for questioning.
Officers from the joint Norfolk and Suffolk Major Investigation Team (MIT) are travelling to North Yorkshire to continue with enquiries there.
