Prisoner absonds

Police are looking for a prisoner who absconded from Hollesley Bay in Suffolk

Police are appealing for help in tracing a Hollesley Bay prisoner who absconded from the prison overnight last night, Tuesday 14 - Wednesday 15 September.

Scott Butcher, 23, who was serving a three-year sentence for robbery, was reported missing this morning after failing to attend a roll call at 8am.

Butcher is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with shaved brown hair and blue eyes. He has a scar on his face and at his hairline.

He has connections to the Colchester area of Essex.
 
If anyone sees Butcher they should phone the police with the details. They should not approach him or take any further action.
