A closed down toilet building above a North Norfolk beach has sold for £104,000 at auction.

The original guide price for the 100 year old building in Sheringham seafront was only between £30,000 and £50,000.

It has been closed down for the last two years and it is now expected to be converted into a small holiday home.

The auctioneers say they had interest from as far away as Birmingham and London to buy it.

The money raised from the sale is going to be spent by North Norfolk District Council on building a new toilet block nearby.
