Teenage Girl Punched In The Face

A teenage girl's suffered a broken nose and rib after she was attacked by a man over the weekend...

A 19-year-old woman, was walking along Hall Road close to the Salvation Army hall with a man when she was approached by another man who punched her in the face before running from the scene towards Church Street then Vicarage Street car park.

The victim fell to the floor as a result of the attack and suffered a broken nose and broken rib.

The suspect is described as white, 5ft 11, of medium build, aged about 30 with short dark hair.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident which happened between 12.45am and 1.15am.
