Thetford: Woman Dies After B1107 Crash

Police have confirmed a woman has died after a crash on the B1107 at Thetford this morning.

The crash happened at around 7.15am this morning on Brandon Road close to the entrance of Thetford Golf Club about one mile from the A11 junction, involving a silver Vauxhall Meriva and a female pedestrian.

She's believed to be in her 20s/30s, suffered serious injuries and sadly died at the scene.

The road remains closed between the junction at the A11 and Santon Downham.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has information concerning it.
