A man and a woman are under arrest after a man found injured in the street on Sunday night died in hospital.
Police were called to Stanley Terrace in the town at 7.45pm Sunday night, where a man was found in the street with serious injuries.
The 21 year old man was taken to the James Padget Hospital in Gorleston but died a short while later.
A man and woman were arrested at the scene in connection with the incident.
DCI Jes Fry said: "We are in the early stages of this investigation, but it appears that all the people involved in this issue were known to each other.
"The scene will remain sealed whilst we continue to carry out a forensic investigation. I would ask that anyone who has any information about the offence to contact the police."
