A woman has been cleared of causing the death of her husband by dangerous driving.

30-year-old Anthony Knox died in hospital after being hit by a car in Woods Loke East in Lowestoft last September

A jury at Ipswich Crown Court found 26-year-old Suzanne Knox from Barley Croft in Hemsby in Great Yarmouth not guilty of causing death by dangerous driving after deliberating for five hours and a half hours.

She had already admitted causing death by careless driving.

Sentencing was adjourned for four weeks.
