Winterton: Body Found On Beach

Norfolk Police have confirmed to Heart the body of a woman has been found on the beach at Winterton near Great Yarmouth.

Officers say they were alerted to the discovery at about 3.45pm today, Saturday 1 June, and the area has been cordoned off.

The death is currently being treated as unexplained and investigations continue.

At this time, police say they are not able to confirm any details about the age or identity of the woman.
