Detectives in Great Yarmouth have charged two men in connection with a serious assault on Friday, March 29.
Police were called to Nelson Road North by paramedics shortly before 11.50pm following reports an altercation.
Officers arrived on scene to find a man had been attacked with a knife, suffering a wound to the chest.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was taken to the James Paget University Hospital before later being transferred to the Norfolk and Norwich for treatment where he remains in a stable condition.
Two men were arrested in connection with the incident at taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
Jordan Robson, 21 and of Sackville Close, Yarmouth, and Adam James Taylor, 23 and of Nelson Road North, Yarmouth, have both been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and affray.
Both men have been remanded in custody to appear before Great Yarmouth Magistrates Court this morning.
