Armed Robbery In Raunds

Armed robbers stole boxes of lighters from a firm in Raunds.

Two men, one armed with a gun,  went into the Titty Ho Motor Company in Grove Street,  shortly after 8.45pm on Tuesday 4 January.
 
A woman member of staff member was threatened but was allowed to leave the premises, leaving the two men inside.
 
They stole a couple of boxes of BIC lighters, some of which were found discarded nearby. Nothing else was stolen.
 
The first robber was white, around 5ft 9ins tall, aged 18-30, of medium build with blue eyes. He was wearing grey jogging bottoms and a grey hooded tracksuit top, a scarf covering the lower half of his face and a hat totally covering the top part of his head.
 
He was the man carrying the hand gun - a matt black weapon which had a square barrel and was about six inches in length.
 
The second was around 6ft 2ins tall, aged 18-30 and of medium build. He was totally covered up in black clothing and a black scarf. He was also wearing a black woolly hat that had a green motif running round its circumference.
