Officers are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision which took place on Friday 31 May.
The incident happened at about 6.30pm in Upton, Northampton.
A black Suzuki motorcycle was travelling along Edgar Mobbs Way when, for reasons yet unknown, it collided with the kerb and a wooden barrier.
The rider of the motorcycle, an 18-year-old man, was airlifted to Northampton General Hospital where he later died.
