Eight people have been arrested after a series of raids targeting people behind burglaries in Kettering.
Seventy police officers were involved in the raids on nine addresses in Kettering on the morning of Tuesday 23 July 2013, during which searches for suspected stolen property also took place.
A further address in Northampton was also searched.
The operation, coordinated by officers at Kettering police station, was designed to keep the pressure on those believed to be involved in criminality in the town.
Seven suspects were arrested on suspicion of committing burglaries across Kettering. They are a 16-year-old boy from Kettering, 16-year-old boy from Northampton, two 17-year-old boys from Kettering, an 18-year-old man from Kettering, a 20-year-old man from Kettering and a 23-year-old man from Kettering.
A 46-year-old woman from Kettering was arrested on suspicion of drugs offences.
All eight suspects have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Detective Inspector Ali Farr, leading the investigation, said: "Burglary is a serious offence which has a significant, lasting impact on the victim. The Burglary Investigation Team work tirelessly to identify offenders and bring them to justice. We have arrested eight people, searched ten addresses and seized numerous items of property. This forms part of a wider ongoing investigation."
Northamptonshire Police say Police Community Support Officers have been carrying out patrols in the area, distributing Crimestoppers information and gathering community intelligence.
