Residents along one street have been given an early wake up call after a fire broke out in the roof of a two-storey house this morning (Tuesday August 23rd).
A number of homes were evacuated along Nelson Street in Kettering just after 5:20am.
Four fire crews from Kettering, Corby and Rothwell were called to the scene, along with police, ambulance and British Red Cross Emergency Support Service.
As a result Regent Street between Bath Road and Rockingham Road has been closed.
