Teenager Dies In Car Crash

A 19 year old woman was killed in a road crash on the A422 between Farthinghoe and Brackley Tuesday morning (August 22nd).

She was driving a black Renault Clio which hit a red Jaguary Sovereign at around ten past ten.

Northants police say the teenager came from Banbury, Oxfordshire.

A passenger in the Jaguar - a 73-year-old woman from Herefordshire - was taken to Horton General Hospital in Banbury with a fractured wrist and ribs. The driver of the Jaguar was uninjured.

The police are keen to hear from any witnesses or from anyone who witnessed the manner of driving of both vehicles prior to the collision.
