Teenager Grabbed by Man in Northampton

Police are linking two cases in Northampton in which a 13 year old girl and a 44 year old woman have been approached.

A man went up to the girl in Hayeswood Road and grabbed her sometime between 7.30pm and 7.40pm.

She managed to push him away and left.

Then, sometime between 5.15pm and 5.25pm on Monday, a man approached a 44-year-old woman in Waterpump Court, Northampton and made suggestive comments.

She told him to go away and then walked away herself.
 
Police believe the same man is responsible and are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the attacks or who may recognise his description.

He was a black man, aged in his late 20s, around 5ft9" tall and of medium build. He had a scruffy goatee beard, although he had not shaven for a while and wore an unkempt, light coloured padded jacket and light coloured blue jeans. He was carrying a black shoulder bag and was ladt seen in the Waterpump Court area of Northampton.
