After the big refurb in April, this is one of the must go spots! Head down Timber Beach Road for the best pizza, burgers and steaks in Sunderland!
House of Tides
For that extra special treat... it's got to be the House of Tides. Ranked 30 in the Top 100 Restaurants in the UK, this is the perfect place for date night in Newcastle.
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, bar bait & drinks can all be found here- Durham you have it all! Perfect for brunching and popping down the medieval style "Crypt" bar for a few drinks!
Located in Teeside, the menu includes gourmet burgers made with the best locally sourced beef and steak! Loads of veggie options too, including pastas, risottos, veggie and halloumi skewers - YUM!
The Hearth Cafe
A friendly little cafe with lots of vegetarian and vegan options... plus amazing cakes sweet treats to be washed down with coffee. If you're lunching in Newcastle, this is a great spot!
Runswick Bay Beach
This hidden gem is close to Redcar and Saltburn-by-the-Sea, with golden sands it's ideal to pop down for a swim or stroll on the beach. Bring a picnic and make a date day of it.
