A driver's died after a crash in Northumberland.
The collision was reported at 9.46am on Friday, October 17, on the A697 south of Wooler, Northumberland.
Emergency Services attended and a section of the road was closed in both directions to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene and a second driver was taken to hospital for treatment.
Enquiries are being carried out to establish the cause of the collision and anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has any information are asked to contact police on 10.
