Man Appears In Court Over Gateshead Nose Bite

A teenager's appeared in court, charged with wounding with intent, after an 18 year old had part of his nose bitten off in Gateshead.
19 year old Kieran Lennox, appeared at Newcastle Crown Court after 18 year old friend Kieran Dyson was left needing surgery and skin grafts.
Lennox, of Saint Cuthbert’s Drive, Heworth, appeared via a video-link to the young offender institution where he is being held on remand.
He's due back in court on March 31st for a plea and case management hearing.
The attack's alleged to have taken place at around 1am on Saturday January 3rd.

A teenager's been charged following an assault in Gateshead in which another man had part of his nose bitten off.
Police received a report of an assault at around 6am on Saturday.
The attack is believed to have happened outside in the Saint Cuthbert's Drive area of Felling.
The 18 year old victim was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains awaiting surgery.
19 year old Kieran Lennox of Saint Cuthbert's Drive, Heworth's charged with wounding with intent to commit GBH.
He appeared at Gateshead Magistrates' Court, where his case was transferred to Newcastle Crown Court.
The teenager was remanded in custody to appear at Newcastle Crown Court on Monday, January 12th.

A man has been arrested after a teenager had part of his nose bitten off in an early morning assault in Gateshead.
The 18-year-old man was taken to the RVI where he is waiting for surgery after being attacked at around 6am today in the Saint Cuthbert's Drive area of Felling.
A 19-year-old man is in custody on suspicion of wounding with intent to commit GBH.
