The PCC for Durham has been told he won't face prosecution over bonuses he received at the Cleveland force.
Durham police and crime commissioner Ron Hogg has been told he will not be prosecuted over bonuses and a car he received when he was a senior officer at neighbouring force Cleveland.
An Independent Police Complaints Commission investigation was launched into his time at the force where he was deputy chief constable.
The findings were passed on the Crown Prosecution Service last week from the IPCC - to consider whether a charge of misconduct in a public office was appropriate.
The CPS has now said; "There was insufficient evidence to show any crime has been committed''.
