North East Emergency Waiting Times Revealed

Waiting times at A and E departments in South Tyneside are the worst in the North East.
The NHS say only 78% of patients there were seen within a four hour target in the last three months of 2014 - the aim is 95%.
County Durham and Darlington NHS Trust also underperformed, with only 78.6% of people seen within the same time frame.
Nationally 92.6% of patients were seen withing 4 hours - below the target of 95%.
The Health Secretary insists the government's "absolutely determined" to cut waiting times in A and E departments, but insists the service isn't doing badly compared with other countries.
