Police in Northumbria are investigating threats to behead a UKIP candidate in Newcastle.
David Robinson-Young claims he recieved a telephone call from an angry constituent.
And at the end of the call he says he was sworn at and threatened.
The incident is alleged to have happened yesterday.
Police have confirmed to us that the matter has been reported to them and is being investigated.
