The Sanctuary for Veteran will see a number of luxury lodges and a training centre built on land near Winsford to help with the rehabilitation of wounded veterans as they return to civilian life.
It's the dream of Joe O'Connor who broke his neck during a training exercise with the SAS, he now wants to help servicemen and women returning from places like Afghanistan.
The main point of the $4.5m centre is that the soldier would bring their family with them, so the whole family unit can learn how to adapt.
