Man charged after teen death

A 44 year old man has been charged with manslaughter by gross negligence after the death of a teenager.

Georgia Varley, 16, died back in October 2011 after falling between a train and the platform at Liverpool's James Street Station.

The teenager from Wallasey had been out with friends on Saturday October 22nd when the incident happened.

Today (Friday) the British Transport Police have told Heart that a 44-year-old man has been charged with manslaughter by gross negligence, and will appear in Liverpool Magistrates' Court on 23 February.
