"(Travis Perkins Plc) Andrew is Travis Perkins ""Mountain Man"". In an incredible selfless feat of endurance he climbed Mount Snowden 52 times last year raising £15,000 for the company's charity's partners, Breast Cancer Campaign and Children's Hospices UK. Recognising Andrew's impressive grit and determination, Breast Cancer Campaign awarded him their much-converted ""Employee Fundraiser of the year 2012""/ He also received an equally coveted special achievement award from the Travis Perkins Group. Andrew was inspired to undertake the gruelling 'Snowden challenge', by his wife, Lynne, who lost her best friend and has another best friend suffering from the disease. This year Andrew is completing a challenge a mouth. He has just completed his first triathlon, although he couldn't swim just two years ago. Pamela Goldberg, Breast Cancer Campaign's chief executive, paid tribute to Andrews amazing achievement saying it was important to publically recognise the generous endeavours of employees like him in order to inspire others."
