We've been speaking to people from Oxfordshire who are stuck around the world because of the volcanic ash crisis.

Fiona Purnell - Brackley

Fiona was due to fly back from a holiday in Orlando, Florida on Sunday 18 April 2010.  She's part of a party of 11, and she's even had to cancel her son's birthday party back in the UK.

Grant Powles - Wantage

Grant spent ten days in Sharm-el-Sheikh in Egypt and was due to fly back on Sunday 18 April 2010.  As a self-employed personal trainer, he's been losing money for every day he's been unable to return to the UK.

Stephen Fallon - Harwell, nr Didcot

Stephen and his wife Helen were supposed to have flown back from Tenerife on Thursday 15 April - the day flights were banned because of the volcanic ash cloud.  The crisis means they've had their holiday extended by more than a week.

Nicola Howse - Didcot

Nicola and her partner were due to fly out to Turkey on Saturday 17 April 2010.  This was cancelled because of the restrictions put on flights.
