Man Charged Over Stabbing Outside Oxford Supermarket

A man's been charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Headington.

She's in hospital with serious injuries after Tuesday afternoon's attack outside the Co-op in London Road.

Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been charged.

30-year-old Jordan Anderson, of no fixed address, was charged this morning (Thursday 14 March) with one count of attempted murder, one count of possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and one count of stalking involving fear of violence.

He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court today.

The victim, a woman aged in her twenties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where she remains at this time.
