Man Charged Over Wisbech Murder

A 26 year old man has been charged with the murder of a Lithuanian woman in Wisbech.

38 year Jolanta Dumciuviene [pictured - right] was found dead in her home in Milner Road on the evening of the 7th May.

Police were called to her house after friends became worried about where she was.

A post-mortem confirmed that she died from injuries gained during an assault.

Now, Tomas Acas, also of Milner Road in Wisbech, has been charged with her murder and is due at Peterborough Magistrate's Court today.

A 23 year old woman has been re-arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

The news comes after a different man who was charged with her murder had charges against him dropped.
