Welcome Home to our Inca Trail Trekkers!
A massive well done and thank you to both of our groups of trekkers who have returned home from Peru having conquered the Inca Trail and arrived at Macchu Piccu!
They trekked through mountain terrain, clambered over the infamous Dead Women's Pass and battled with the effects of altitude. All of this helping to ensure that they worked together as a team and emerged from the challenge with an enormous sense of achievement.
As well as a physical challenge, everyone taking part had a fundraising challenge. In total both groups to date has raised more than £80,000 for Have a Heart. These invaluable funds will be used to support the amazing work of Children's Hospices UK - to provide care and support to local seriously ill children and their families in their own homes.
