As Jason Donovan takes us back to the 80s with his weekly show on Heart we take look at the things we've learnt throughout his lengthy career in showbiz!
Whitney Houston has to be one of the biggest stars throughout the 80s, but she was no match for our Jason. He claims that he and Kylie were escorted out of her concert by police because of frenzied fans.
Believe it or not but Jason Donovan saw THE actual King of Pop shopping around in an electrical good store. JD tells us that the moonwalker picked up some cables and a CD player.
Bet you didn't know that George Michael was nifty on the turntables? Well did you know that Jason Donovan was invited by Simon Le Bon to a trendy party in London back in the 80s, where he saw George Michael take to the decks.
Jason is not just a huge fan and long time friend of the Pet Shop Boys. Back in the late 80s he missed out on a chance to work with them on a track after their record label declined.
Jason turned down a role in famed Aussie film 'The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert' because he didn't like the script. The 1994 movie went on to be a huge hit, but Jason later appeared in the stage musical version! Picture: Getty
Winning over us Brits during his time on Aussie soap 'Neighbours', Jason later stormed the UK charts with 4 number one singles such as 'Especially For You' and 'Any Dream Will Do'.
The nuptials of Charlene and Scott Robinson remains one of the biggest broadcasts in soap history, however Kylie and Jason starred together long before playing the childhood sweethearts in 'Neighbours'. In fact they played brother and sister when Jason made a guest appearance on Aussie series 'Skyways' in 1980.
Whilst most would look back on the popular 80's hairstyle with horror, Jason has nothing but fond memories of the dodgy 'do. He said: "The mullet was of its time. I believed in it ... and it served me well."
From September 2011, Donovan flashed the flesh in a number of impressively dazzling outfits for the ninth series of 'Strictly Come Dancing' were he and partner Kristina Rihanoff waltzed their way into the finals.
Jason is the proud father of three children, whom he had with his partner Angela Malloch.
Despite his efforts and THAT gruelling bush tucker trial in 2006, Jason narrowly lost out on the title of 'King Of The Jungle' to Matt Willis, but earned a respectable third place.
Jason will be taking us back to the 80's with all things Madonna, Bananarama and Wham! So make sure you tune in!
