The parents of two students killed by a blackout driver in Glasgow 5 years ago today have revisited the scene.

Laura Stewart, 20, and Mhairi Convy, 18, died in Hanover Street in Glasgow City Centre on this day in December 2010.

It was after William Payne passed out at the wheel of his Range Rover and knocked them down.

He failed to tell the DVLA about 6 other fainting episodes.

The families were at the scene this morning laying flowers.

They were hugging each other as pipes played in the background.
