Five people have been taken to hospital after a six-car accident on the M8 motorway.
Emergency services were called to the crash in Renfrewshire just before 9am.
Police, fire and ambulance services attended, and five people were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
A spokesman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: ``We received a call at 8.57am to attend a road traffic collision on the M8 near Cardonald.
``We dispatched four ambulances, a paramedic response unit and a manager to the scene.
``Five patients were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.''
Emergency services have since left the scene after ensuring the road was safe.
